Corrosian study

Three solutions were tested on 316L stainless steel coupons (5.9117 sq. inch surface area). The coupons were weighed then placed in 100 ml of solution in a glass container. The containers were then placed in a lab oven at 80C degrees for 145.25 hours. The coupons were then removed and allowed to air dry for 24 hours. The coupons were then placed in a fresh bath of the test solutions and returned to the Lab oven for 180 hours. The coupons were removed, rinsed, dried and weighed.

There was no noticeable etching or corrosion of the coupons.

Ultra Biocid does not cause rusting; in fact it removes rust from certain substrates.
